What is PTSD ?
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is more than just bad memories. It is the nervous system stuck in survival mode, replaying danger long after the threat has passed. It affects how you sleep, how you relate to others, how you see yourself and the meaning you have given to the world.
It feels very overwhelming, but it is treatable and recovery is possible.
If you are living with PTSD, you may feel like no one truly understands what you are carrying. The intrusive memories, the constant state of alert, the struggle to simply feel present in your own life. You are not alone and you do not have to keep living this way.

Medicare Rebates
We believe that everyone deserves access to quality psychological support. You may be eligible for Medicare rebates on sessions through the Better Access to Mental Health Care initiative.
To access a Medicare rebate, you will need a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) from your GP, which includes a referral to a psychologist. This plan allows you to claim a rebate on up to 10 individual sessions per calendar year.
We recommend speaking with your GP in the first instance to find out if this pathway is right for you.
For current rebate amounts, please visit www.mbsonline.gov.au or speak with our friendly admin team who are happy to help guide you through the process
